Placemat Sejjadeh Azur - Set of 2

The floors of Mediterranean residences in the 1930s and 1940s were covered with ceramic tiles in a variety of designs. These terrazzos were unrivalled for their vast repertory of colors, arabesques, and graphic motifs. Juxtaposed, they formed a gigantic pattern, hence their nickname "Sejjadeh," or carpet.
